    Busy Fran day at the gym today!

    We had Josh x 2 battling it out to start, both putting out solid efforts and good times. Next up Glenda, Lori, and Kelly were all initiated into the Fran club and they all completed it on their first attempt and were asking for more (OK, they didn’t ask for more, but they all did every rep!). Finally Sharon, the seasoned veteran, moved up to a very challenging weight on the thrusters and gutted through a great effort to finish.

    Also nice job to Carol moving some very serious weight in a nice time per the above post.

    It was fun just being part of the good energy at the gym tonight…

    Did the mainpage WOD in honor of Ssgt Timothy Davis who was KIA.

    12 DL
    9 powercleans
    6 push press

    22:45 w/ 135# for all movements.

    This was scaled down from 155. One of the hardest workouts I’ve done.

    Dude are you freaking KIDDING ME? No. I totally missed that it said push jerk. I would have split instead and knocked 5 minutes off my time.

    Oh well, live and learn.

    WOW! I just checked my last Fran and it was 9:04, cut it by minute and half! Guess it wasn’t as bad as I thought…and JB you were right, I did 35# then too.

    Solid PR, Sharon!

    PRs are a double-edged sword. It means you’re getting stronger, but it also means that next time you have to up the weight!
