The New York Times multimedia team gets conceptual in this slide show of six Olympic athletes with very different body types, and very different biostats, starting with shot-putter Christian Cantwell, who weighs 335 pounds and bench presses 650.
I’m not trying to call people out. Let’s definitely not get in to to KM/SW discussion.
To answer your question, I like you more than I did yesterday. The competition pushes me further than just the time.
I’ve told Sensei, I don’t care what your time is, my time is, or his time is. But working alongside one of you really motivates me to do my best.
Today I only finished a few OHS ahead of Sensei. If you’d have been there, working alongside me, my time would have been even faster.
As I said, I like you better now. But my question to you is: when will you show up to compete?
Make it happen and we’ll both benefit.
That’s what drive me. You let me know.
Will you be at the Milwaukee affiliate challenge?

No way I’ll be able to go to Milwaukee.
As far as this week goes, I’ll be relaxing at Apple Canyon Lake near Galena, IL this week – but I’m taking my rings, rope, and KB with me.
I agree with you – I push myself harder/farther when there is competition. When I get back, it’ll be on.

I look forward to you return. As I said, that is what’s best for me. Win or lose.
Have a good time in Galena!

i like the idea of crossfit HORSE. i really like the rest day WOD you posted for august 4th, and i too enjoy competition. as long as it's not something i suck at.
and lastly, i'm really enjoying the time i've been dedicating to the olympic lifts and almost zero metabolic conditioning, however, i don't think i've lost that much metcon.
